A delightful break at the lake

The hotel staff radiated warmth, making us feel like guests in their home. Waking up to the smell of breakfast was heavenly, and the location was perfect for lake activities.

However, the breakfast selection was limited, and a couple of items were out of order during our stay. I wish there were more options to enjoy with my family.

Consider asking for a room away from pets for peace and quiet at night. The breakfast area is exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

The room was super clean and comfy with air conditioning, cable channels, and a private bathroom. The shower had great water pressure too! Loved having a TV and tea/coffee maker. The pool was a hit with the kids, and the staff was really friendly. Free wifi was a nice bonus!

Breakfast options included pre-made muffins, cereal, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles, which was decent, especially for kids. However, the room could have used a thorough cleaning, with some candy left on the floor and worn carpet. Wifi speed was frustratingly slow, and we only managed to get about 5 TV stations despite having cable available. Also, there was no daily housekeeping service offered, which was a bit disappointing. Staff were polite but that didn’t fully make up for the room’s shortcomings.

The fresh cream cakes at the breakfast bar were a delightful surprise, and I loved making my own waffles—definitely a sweet treat! Plus, the friendly staff made check-in a breeze. Cozy vibes!

It's a bummer that the pet-friendly vibe led to some pups barking all night—definitely not cool when you're trying to catch z's. Also, the humidity in the rooms could use a little love.

It was a well-suited match for a trip in Eldon with very good value for money. The staff was super friendly, and I felt at home. If you need a comfy stay, this place fits the bill.
